Channel Link Performance Certification Program
Lifetime Warrantee
To ensure our customer's best interest, Datacom Link's systems are covered by a Lifetime Warranty on parts and performance when installed as part of a Datacom Link Certified Cabling System. A Datacom Link "Certified Cabling System" will effectively carry the signals of any communications equipment developed and sanctioned for use with the category of UTP cable originally installed, including ATM, 10 Base-T, 100 Base-TX, Gigabit Ethernet, and Token Ring.
Channel Performance
All of the components listed within this program will comply with EIA/TIA Cat5 and Cat5E specifications. Datacom Link's in-house testing labs certified the Channel Link test, guarantees channel link meets and exceeds EIA/TIA applicable Channel Link Performance.
Channel Link Testing
Specific components are chosen to simulate a channel link. Testing performed with DCM industries PCT-350 and HP 8753E Network Analyzer. All individual components must pass set industry parameters of the channel link to qualify for our certification, within Category 5, Category 5E, or Category 6 specifications. Testing results are generated into a graphical report, available upon request.
